Create a matric dashboard for marketing team to follow up the website traffic
To build the filters and dashboard easy to use

What I did on this project



Redesiged the dashboard filters - both main filter and matric time filter on Bookings Trend
Designed the detial pop out windows after click the bar

Ideas for updates



Combine all filters to be in the same bar
Changed the dropdown filer to right appear menu
List and suggest the dropdown filter when searching a keyword
Change the data bar to a new dashboard page to the pop-out window

The New Design

There are several design updates on the product



The Work I was done for the new design



Filter related designs

  • Relocated the Reset button from the right top to the bottom of the filter section.
  • Changed the quarter and annual to date range section (Branden has some thoughts on it, the content may update in the future).
  • Redesigned the filter UI from the dropdown to fade in the second navbar from left to right.
  • Added a search bar with a suggested dropdown filter. Tags show in the search bar with a delete icon.
  • Added a UI to change the bar graphic for users. Example gif link is attached next to the frame of the design. (optional)

Pop out window related designs

  • Darker the background to highlight the pop out window.
  • Made two options of the default looking (blank or automatic showing the first person in the unique visitor list).
  • Designed the Tabs for the Multiple topics ( pages, Download files, Events).
  • Picking the different unique visitors will make Engagement graphic and Multiple topics data changes.
  • The dropdown function can filter Job title and Company at the unique visitor section.
  • Added a filter under the page title for users to change the info they would like to see in the pop out window instead of going back to the up level dashboard.
