Astronomy Day
Astronomy Day is a world-wide event observed each spring and fall. The next Astronomy Day this year is October 8, 2016; Astronomy Day next spring will be May 14, 2016. Local astronomical societies, planetariums, museums, and observatories will be sponsoring public viewing sessions, presentations, workshops, and other activities to increase public awareness about astronomy and our wonderful universe. SETI Institute is an organization looking for out space lives. Astronomy Day is very important to our scientists.
